In this role, you will handle admissions, rounding, and discharges while collaborating with advanced practice providers and intensivists. Practice Info Join a close-knit team of 10 physicians and 2 APPs at AdventHealth Palm Coast Hospital Closed ICU with 24/7 Intensivist program Small community-based hospital setting Responsibilities Perform admissions, rounding, and discharges See a wide variety of diseases while collaborating with available specialists Work in coordination with the intensivist who handles all codes and procedures Utilize EPIC with Dragon for efficient dictation and access internal informatics platform for streamlined workflow and communication Compensation $250,000 base with earning potential of $335,000 Productivity and quality bonus potential Benefits Full benefits package Matching 401(k) CME allowance Paid malpractice insurance + tail insurance Shift & Schedule Full-time 12-hour day rounding shifts and round-robin admissions between the 4 physician rounders Qualifications Board-certified ABIM or ABFM within 1 year of start Previous hospitalist experience is preferred Must be comfortable collaborating with APPs who help with admissions and cross coverage calls Authorized to work in the United States We proudly sponsor H1B & J1 visa candidates and provide in-house visa specialists, licensing, and credentialing support
